These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the services provided by Guitar Wellness (“we”, “our”, “us”). By booking or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
Guitar Wellness provides performance-focused guitar setup services for instruments in generally good working condition.
Our work is intended to optimise:
Playability and feel
Tuning stability
Intonation and overall performance
We do not provide:
Major repairs or structural restoration
Work on severely damaged or neglected instruments
Budget or minimum-standard setup work
We reserve the right to decline service where an instrument is not suitable.
All instruments are assessed prior to or at the time of service.
If additional issues are identified beyond a standard setup, we will:
Notify you before proceeding
Provide options where appropriate
Additional work may incur extra cost or require referral to a specialist.
Pricing varies based on instrument type and complexity.
Typical starting prices:
Electric Guitar: from $150
Acoustic Guitar / Bass: from $160
Floyd Rose / Locking Systems: from $190
Final pricing may vary depending on the condition of the instrument and work required.
Any changes will be confirmed before proceeding.
You may supply your own strings or request them to be provided at additional cost.
We are not responsible for issues arising from:
Worn or faulty strings
Customer-supplied parts or hardware
If parts or special materials are required, a deposit may be required prior to ordering to cover the cost of materials.
Turnaround times are estimates only and may vary depending on workload and instrument condition.
We aim to complete work within the agreed timeframe but do not guarantee specific completion times.
Payment is required upon completion and prior to collection or return of the instrument, unless otherwise agreed.
We reserve the right to retain possession of the instrument until full payment is received.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide reasonable notice.
Repeated cancellations, late notice, or missed appointments may result in refusal of future bookings.
You will be notified when your instrument is ready.
Instruments should be collected within a reasonable timeframe.
We reserve the right to charge storage fees for instruments left uncollected.
All reasonable care is taken when handling instruments. However, Guitar Wellness is not liable for:
Pre-existing faults or damage
Structural weaknesses or hidden defects
Normal wear and tear
Liability is limited to the value of the service provided.
A professional setup can significantly improve performance, but results depend on the instrument’s condition and quality.
Not all issues can be fully resolved through setup alone.
If you experience an issue directly related to the setup within a reasonable period, please contact us.
We will assess and, where appropriate, make reasonable adjustments.
This does not cover:
Environmental changes (temperature, humidity)
String wear or breakage
Modifications made after service
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service where:
The instrument is not suitable
The requested work falls outside our scope
Communication or behaviour is unreasonable
